At WENES Event, we monitor trends on a daily basis, listen to guest feedback and test new concepts. Here's our unfiltered take on what's hot and what's not. leave behind in 2024which deserves a facelift, and what makes 2025 tick.

What we're leaving (with no regrets) in 2024

❌ Tables that are too "Pinterestised

Perfectly aligned cupcakes, endlessly cloned pop cakes, overly staid crockery... It's pretty in photos, but often too cold. Today, we're looking for life, movement, emotion. The staging should evoke a story, not a static shoot.

 

❌ Gadget animations

Cartoonists, old-school magicians, uninspiring animations... If that doesn't create a true emotional interaction or if it doesn't serve the concept of the event, we'll skip it. The year is 2025, animation must be conceived as a vector of experiencenot just a filler.

 

❌ Neon clichés

"Let's party", "Crazy night", "Good vibes only"... These neon signs have saturated Instagram for years. Now it's time for immersive lighting effects, scenographic ambiencesand a more original aesthetic.

What we save (but need to rethink)

⚖️ Food trucks

They have long been the stars of outdoor events. In 2025, they're still on trend provided they are revisited immersive design, culinary storytelling, quality products. If well integrated, a food truck can become a decorative and experiential element.

 

⚖️ Flashy cocktails

Fluorescent blue cocktails are fun... but often to the detriment of taste. We now prefer signature cocktailsmade with local products, elegant aesthetics, and a mixology experience live.

 

⚖️ The disco ball

We admit it: we still love it. But for it to shine in 2025, we need to get away from the cliché and integrate it into a creative scenography. It can become trendy again if it's boldly hijacked.

Make way for lush, organic scenography cascades of foliage, fresh flowers and natural installations. Plants become a powerful visual language, synonymous with poetry and generosity.

The Mediterranean trend is back: figs, lemons, grapes... We create a generous, sunny atmosphereinspired by Italian long tables. It's beautiful, warm and evokes authenticity.
